This restaurant is located in old town district of Croatia. Nice historic charm, service was good and the food. Shout out to Marco. He's one of the waiters, but also a world traveler.

Had the most amazing meals today good honest home cooking. I had the stuffed peppers(cabbage rolls) cabbage not in season, it was just as I remember having as a kid back home in Australia. The veal schnitzel was also perfect. Well worth the visit while in Zagreb.

Excellent local restaurant in Zagreb Stari Fijaker 900 offers traditional Croatian food of great quality with outstanding service. I had the tomato soup, a mixed salad, roasted duck, and a beer; everything was well prepared and generously served. For about €30 in total, the value for money was excellent. What really sets this place apart is the staff: the captain and waiters are friendly, speak English without issues, and maintain a warm camaraderie with local guests, which creates an authentic atmosphere that feels like a gathering place for friends. Although some tourists visit, it remains primarily a local spot. Highly recommended as a must-visit in Zagreb.

We selected the rest because we wanted to have some traditional local Croatian and we were not disappointed. Food is delicious and portion was very generous. The restaurant was not too busy as it was past dinner time and they seated us very quickly. It has the old school restaurant setting which we like and wanted. Very happy with our choice. Everyone should try to go there whenever you are in Zagreb. You'll not be disappointed.

This place offers excellent local food with a true taste of Zagreb. The staff are exceptionally friendly and make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. Both the food and wine are outstanding—flavors are fresh, authentic, and perfectly balanced. It’s definitely worth a visit if you want a genuine local dining experience. Just make sure to reserve a table before coming, as it’s usually busy, which only shows how popular it is with both locals and visitors.

Very nice experience in that restaurant for Donner.We booked the table online and then we contacted by email. The response was prompt and professional. The menu was typical Croatian and it was overall d Tasty and filling. Thw environment was pleasant and the staff was friendly. Recommended!

First off, you're going to need a reservation most days. Maybe they can squeeze in 2 pax, maybe not. Excellent food, excellent service and smack in the middle of town center. The bread was so good it has to be mentioned as well as the cabbage rolls.

if you have to choose a dinner option in Zagreb, i highly recommend you pick this place. It’s quite successful in terms of ambiance, service, and flavor. waiters are attentive and very kind. we ordered the duck and calamari for our meal and we liked it. Crotian white wine was also quite delicious

Shut up. We would like to start this review by thanking our amazing waiter Marko, who, with all the friendliness and patience in the world guided us through the menu and helped us enjoy a wildly delicious dinner. There is not much to say, we were amazed by the quality of the food. Please visit this place if you’re looking for authentic Croatian food in Zagreb. You’ll thank us later ;)
